St. Bede School maintains the right to establish a uniform dress code for its students. It is recognized that proper school attire and good grooming are conducive to a student’s educational and social development.
The St. Bede School Dress Code was developed:
- to promote a Christian atmosphere,
- to free children for academic concentration,
- to de-emphasize competition among children regarding clothing,
- to allow more economical dress for school, and
- to provide some choice to accommodate individual differences.
The St. Bede School Dress Code is required of all students in all grades, kindergarten through eighth grade. This policy is intended to maintain a standard of dress that is neat, economical, modest and attractive. Dress and grooming are important. Emphasis is on cleanliness and neatness.

New St. Bede School uniforms can be ordered from Lands’ End. When ordering uniforms from Lands’ End, be sure to enter the St. Bede School Preferred School Number: 900131178. St. Bede School will earn up to 3% back on your purchase of school uniforms from Lands' End.
Parents are strongly encouraged to mark their children's St. Bede School uniforms and other clothing children wear to school with their child(ren's) name to make recovery of misplaced or lost items possible.

ST. BEDE SCHOOL UNIFORM EXCHANGE
Families are encouraged to take advantage of the
St. Bede School PTG Uniform Exchange.- If you would like to donate gently used uniforms, please leave them in the bin outside of the school office or send them to school with your child.
- Please be certain that all donated uniforms are
- largely free of pet hair, have no tears or stains,
- are not missing buttons
- and have functioning zippers, etc.

The St. Bede School PTG Uniform Exchange volunteers sort donations and distribute items to families upon request and offer in-person “shopping” events at various times during the year.
- If you would like to request gently used uniforms for your child(ren) during the school year, please complete the Uniform Exchange Request form, and your order will be fufilled as quickly as possible. There is no cost to request gently used uniforms from the St. Bede School PTG Uniform Exchange.
- Parents are strongly urged to mark their children’s school uniform/clothing with their names. Since children do not readily claim lost items, proper identification helps school staff to find the owner and save parents the cost of replacement. School uniform items that are not claimed by the end of each report period are washed and donated to the St. Bede School PTG Uniform Exchange. Clothing items that are not claimed by the end of each month are donated to charity.
