Parent Co-Chairs Sarah Breslin and Becky Stratmoen-Smith are leading this year’s event with a creative and energetic team of parent volunteers committed to making this another successful auction.

This event, the largest fundraiser of the year, is held to help raise revenue for the school’s operational budget.  Like most parochial schools, tuition at St. Bede School does not cover the full cost of educating each student. As a result, the school relies on fundraising efforts by the Parent Teacher Guild (PTG) and its volunteers to support the school and its programs in order to keep tuition affordable and meet the needs for tuition assistance. A large potion of this year’s PTG fundraising goal is expected to be raised at the Adult Social and Auction.

There will be prizes and auction items for everyone and every budget, from $2 raffle tickets to larger items in the live auction. Any level of support is valuable and much appreciated. Guests will be able to support the fundraising goal in the following ways:

  • buying raffle tickets to win great prizes
  • taking part in the silent and live auctions, including a chance to bring home your child’s class artwork
  • bidding on generous teacher and faculty donations, including the always popular “Principal for a Day”
  • participating in Fund-A-Need (to help fulfill items on the school’s wish list)

Plan to attend!

In order to make this evening a success, we need YOU to attend! Enjoy signature cocktails, hors d’œuvres, a delicious dinner, entertainment, and dancing—all while mingling with friends and bidding on fantastic items. Just by purchasing a ticket, you’re helping us meet our fundraising goal!

In addition to being an important fundraiser, the Adult Social is also a fun way for the members of the St. Bede family—both school and parish—to gather in support of the school and church community they care deeply about.

Get Involved!  

We’re always looking for more committee members to join our great team. We need assistance procuring donation items, organizing gift gathering parties in the spring, and helping with setup, cleanup, and management of the event itself. Please contact us if you are interested in helping with any of these activities.

Donate an Auction Item

Have a favorite restaurant? Buy a gift card to donate! Know a lot about wine or beer? Host a wine or beer tasting in your home!  Are you a season-ticket holder? Donate tickets to a game! Are you a great baker?  A yoga teacher?  An artist?  Offer up your talents for the auction!  The possibilities are endless! Check out our Auction Wish List and Donation Form for ideas of items to donate. Please send in the form by Friday, April 21, 2017 for your donation to be included in the Auction Program.

Advertise in the Auction Program

Advertising in the Auction Program is a great way to support St. Bede School and promote your business or include your own personal message. Please see advertising information below for ad rates for businesses as well as for members of the school and parish.

Premium placement is reserved on a first come, first served basis with your completed advertisement form and payment, due no later than April 21, 2017.



Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the event so that more of the proceeds from the evening go directly to the school. Your contributions may be tax deductible. We look forward to seeing you on May 5!  Big hats and bow ties welcome, but not required!  Look for your invitation in March, 2017.  Tickets are $65 per person, $50 for seniors.  The fun begins at 7:00 P.M. and ends at midnight. This year’s event will take place at Longue Vue Club in Verona.
