School Advisory Council

Comprised of a diverse group of area professionals, teachers, professors from local universities, members of the school and parish who are experienced in public policy and how it relates to top-tiered learning institutions, and engaged parents, parishioners, and community members, the School Advisory Council oversees a Parent – Teacher Advisory Council, appoints sub-committees in everything from marketing to enrichment support, and more, and keeps an open door policy regarding feedback and input from the school community.

The council promotes new academic programs throughout the school, troubleshoots any issues that arise, supports PTG and SBAA initiatives, and recommends ongoing improvements to the school, in general, while keeping in mind trends in the education field and in Pittsburgh’s learning community.
