Opportunities abound for parent volunteers at St. Bede School! From coordinating some of the biggest events of the year like the annual social / gala or the student’s favorite end of the year “field day”, Best of the Bede, there is something for everyone.

At the classroom level, parents can get involved in helping with the monthly teacher brunches, the monthly trips to the Frick, planting and science activities and more. On a daily basis, parents can volunteer for recess, lunch, gym, and library duty. For more information on how to get involved, contact the PTG or the school office. First Annual Crusader Walkathon

PTG’s largest fundraiser of the year: 13 October, 12:40 – 2 pm – rain or shine.

Helpers are needed for our school’s annual end-of-the-year “field day” to help keep it safe and organized for our kids – supervise games/activities, work the snack and water table, donate snacks and help clean up.

Recess and Lunchroom Volunteer Coordination

Everyday, parents are needed to help out in the lunchroom – serving food, selling items – as well as supervising the playground. If you have daytime availability, please consider helping as often as you can.

Back to School Clean Up Day

Join us at St. Bede to get the grounds ready for a great year. Meet new and old friends, spend time working together, and bring a picnic lunch to enjoy once the work is done. There will also be free uniforms available

Ice Skating Parties

During the winter, the St. Bede PTG rents out the Schenley Ice Rink and sells admission to our families.

PTG Pizza Lunch

The Pizza Lunch has been a great monthly fundraiser that the kids love! Helpers are needed to serve lunch that day.

Santa’s Treasure Shop

Many elves are needed the night before the shop opens to help display our gift items and the day of the event to work the “register” and wrap all of the gifts. Bakers are also needed to stock the bake sale!

Uniform Exchange

The Uniform Exchange is a great way to add a few extra, free uniform items to your child’s collection. Uniforms will be available during various PTG events – feel free to take what you need, or donate what your children no longer use.

Clip, save, and donate Box Tops – place them in the collection boxes located in the school office or at the back of the church.
